Our Trip HOME!!

Kellee and I finally had a chance to go back to Norman this summer to see all of our family. It's amazing how much things have changed and yet how so many things stayed the same. We had a great time, we got to go to all of my favorite places like Panda Garden, Boomerang, IHOP, and Pizza Shuttle. We spent a lot of time lounging around my Aunt Kelly's pool, perfecting our dives getting some sun. I also spent a lot of time hanging out with my good friend Adam and his family. Overall we had a great trip. But I will have to say that my favorite part of it all was just being able to sit around and talk with my Aunt and Uncle and all my cousins, we stayed up for hours talking about everything you could possibly imagine, and I am so thankful for them and their love. It was also great to see all the new additions to our family, my cousins children, who I will admit were a handful together, but adorable when alone. This trip alone is sure to get me through the tough year that is ahead with school. Thank you Aunt Kelly, Uncle Steve, TK, Mindy and Eric, Shana, and Adam for everything. You guys rock!

Adam's Visit to Idaho

My buddy Adam flew out from Oklahoma to visit Idaho and BYU-I, we drove down to Salt Lake and picked him up. We went to an all you can eat steak house called Stockman's, it was really good, but none of us got past the first 16 oz. steak they gave us, but it was still fun.

During dinner our waitress asked us our plans for the weekend and we explained that we wanted to float the Snake River, and she warned us to be very careful because the river was so high and so many people had drowned in that river. We carefully considered her advice and decided to go for it, Adam and I went all out and rented a cataract raft, life vests, helmets and even wet suits and went out to tackle the mighty Snake River. Much to our suprise the river was not nearly as wild as expected, but we still had a blast!

Flash Flooding!!!!

Jordans good friend Adam is coming for a visit and being the wonderful house wife that I am, I was ready this morning to get the house clean and guest ready. I started with the kitchen. After loading the dishwasher I reach under the sink cabinet pour the detergent in, and when I put it back into the cabinet my foot gots splashed with water. Yes we are under a flood warning. One of the pipes attached to one under the sink completely came undone. Some what luckily, I have a large green summer outdoor beverage holder that holds most everything that you would put under your sink (cleaning products, tools that were my Granddads, and so on). The unlucky part you may ask? That green bucket was directly under the broken pipe and the water ruined our powdered cleaning products, ugh.

So I have spent my morning yelling, crying, and almost cursing the stupid pipes. And let me tell you how smelly it was. We really don't know how long it's been broken and how old dirty the dish water is, but I have to say that it isn't fun when your pregnant and just want to get that stuff cleaned up.

Jordan and I not only have Adam coming to stay, but we are also preparing for our trip out to Oklahoma. Do you ever feel like as soon as great exciting stuff is about to happen something has to break and get in the way?

Olympic Fever!

Photobucket

It only comes around once every four years and the greatest athletes come from all around the world come to compete for one thing, The Gold. I'm talking about the Summer Olympic Games, now I've been alive for 6 games now but I have never caught the fever, until now. After watching what is being called the closest swimming relay ever I have officially caught the Fever! Because of my wife Kellee I have become a Phelps Phan, Micheal Phelps is the 23 year old swimmer who is going for the Olympic record of 8 yes 8 gold medals! And I've gotta say the guy is freakin amazing. So as the Summer Games continue and the competition gets stiffer I will be right there watching on NBC, because that's the only channel we get with our rabbit ears, cheering on the USA!!

Our New Apartment and Car!!

Okay so neither are really that new because we bought our car back in February and promised to put up pictures, and we moved into our new apartment back in May, but what can I say? We were without a computer for like 4 months so here it is.

An Overdue Photo Update

So this update has been very overdue, but with Kellee being pregnant and me working and going to school it has been very difficult to find time to be a "blogger". So much has been going on in our lives up to this point, we've moved to a bigger apartment, we bought a new car, Kellee is pregnant and I am entering my last year of college, whoo hoo!!! So I have decided to just throw together a bunch of pictures from the past few months so that everyone can see what has been going on, Kellee and I are so happy and can not wait to be parents, we look forward to the challenges that lay ahead of us and are ready for the next chapter to start in our lives. Enjoy the pictures.
