What's new with us

This is finals week at BYU-Idaho and Jordan is practically a ghost around here. He is up every morning long before the sun is shinning. Goes to school, comes home changes for work and after work goes straight to school for group projects and more studying. This is one very busy man.

I, on the other hand have started hunkering down and getting the house ready for the baby to arrive. Monday was my first official day of Mat Leave and I am loving being home and feeling like a real home maker, but I hate not bringing in any money. So starting tomorrow I am going to 'clean check' off campus apartments for BYU. I make sure that the kids did all the cleaning they were signed up to do. It's very exciting and busy work. I'll be doing it until Saturday afternoon, but can't wait!!!

Then next week Jordan is free from school and we get to spend some wonderful couple time before the baby comes.

News on the Babe: The doctor has me scheduled to be induced on January 2nd. Hospital policy changes as off 2009 and they will no longer preform inductions on holidays. But that's fine because we are going to try all the little tricks we can find to see if this little guys will come closer to the 1st then the 3rd. So if you have any advice we'd love to here it.

People keep asking me when my due date is and they are all shocked to find out it's New Years. And that means a great big shout out to Mom and her mom for the wonderful genetics they have given me! Gotta love looking 7 months preggo when you're actually 9. Thank You Thank You Thank You! But a big fat 'What on earth were you THINKING?' to the doctor that delivered me! I am blessed with an outy belly button. I always felt very special and unique for having it, but now that this kiddo is close to 7 pounds and still likes to move around, even though there isn't enough room, I have 3 little stretch marks that should not be there. I am constantly making little hissing sounds because it hurts oh so much when he stretches. My advice? Tell your doctor that if he gives any of your daughters an outy belly button that he had better come up with a way for them to not be in pain when they start having kids and their little babe tries to have a good ole stretch. Sorry for the rant, but now you have something to think about when your next one comes along.
