Ode to Trae Carl

Today is Trae's one month birthday. I don't celebrate half birthdays and such, BUT today January 27th at 2:31 pm Trae Carl Wareham is ONE MONTH OLD!!!
What a joy and blessing Peanut has been in our lives. I love him dearly and can't believe a month as already gone by in his little life.
Here is a picture of what Trae is doing right now. This swing puts him out like a light and that's great because I needed a shower and wanted to write this little Ode to Trae.
Oh before I forget Trae is officially over 10 pounds!!! We had his first WIC appointment last thursday and he came in at 10 lbs. exactly! He is just growing up SO fast. I love you sweetie!!!

The Greatest Lasagna and a New Family Member

My mom makes the GREATEST lasagna that there is!!!! She doesn't think so, but I sure do! So when Trae was born mom of course made some for dinner and then she made me this HUGE one to freeze and eat later. Well it's later enough for me and I can't get enough!!! It is just so good. Thank you mom!!!!

And welcome to the family Steven V. Hammari!!!! This fine young man will be wed to one Ms. Randi S. Armour this June! I had the opportunity to go down to Utah with Bailey and Trae this weekend to meet him and celebrate the engagement. Randi and Steven are made for each other and are just too adorable and in LOVE. Welcome to the crazy love that is the Armour Family Steven! It's not too bad just ask Jordan ;).

Gripe Water

Ok I know this is my third post in two days, BUT I have to say how AMAZING Gripe Water by Baby Bliss is! Trae gets horrible heart wrenching make you want to do anything to make them stop disturbing your child hiccups. Yes all babies get them, but his are so violent that they actually wake him up at night and keep him from sleeping, thus keeping me from sleeping.
I was telling my dear friend Audra about this problem and she ran and got me a bottle of Gripe Water. This stuff is a blessing!!! I just give him a very little and in like 5 minutes he is hiccup free and fast asleep.
One problem, if you really know us (Jordan and I) you know that we are very aware of how we spend our money and where it's going and if something is really worth spending our hard earned cash on. So, for a 4 ounce bottle it is just over $11 at Walgreens. Ok so I have been given plenty by sweet wonderful Audra, but I want to have more on hand because this stuff isn't just for our kids when they are babies, but toddlers and even adults can take it.
Here is the deal, I am asking for you guys to keep your eyes open for this stuff at a cheaper price. If you find it please let me know how I can get some too. ;). Also, just try it yourself, I promise you will fall in LOVE. It's for colic, hiccups, teething, and gas problems in general. Your kids will love it because it taste pretty good and you will swear by it because it is all natural and works, I can actually pronounce all the ingredients.
Keep your eyes open!!!

I LOVE this

I LOVE this!!!!! Yes the face he is making, but above all motherhood. I spend my days with my 2 week old son staring at his sweet angelic face as he sleeps, and as he eats.
I never thought how quickly I would be able to understand this little man that is so new to my life. I know what he wants as soon as I hear his cry reach my ear. I love him so much! I remember sitting in a literature class 2 years ago studying poetry of the heart, a poem about parenthood was the topic for the day, only one student in the class was a parent and he talked of a love deeper then any he had ever had for another human being. Yes he's madly in love with his wife, but considering that this little human being was a small part of his wife only made him love his little girl more. I now understand what he meant.
At the time I thought he was crazy! How could I ever love someone deeper then I love Jordan? It's a deeper, different kind of love, a love that isn't worked for. I didn't have to work at loving Trae or even caring for him it just came. Jordan on the other hand I fell in love with. I know I sound insane, but I am SO blessed to have these two amazing men in my life. I LOVE this!
