It must be from months and months of just buying this and that to feed the family, but $2 for a dozen eggs?!? I might as well buy a chicken with as many eggs TC goes through. And while I am buying that chicken I am going to get me a cow. That's right, and I am going to milk her for a long time and then make butter! Then I will kill her and make a delicious Sunday roast. What? I need the butter to go on the rolls and the rolls soak up the gravy from the roast. In Norman, it is $2.50 a lb. for a nice roast. Actually all meat. everything has gone up and I can't help but think it has to do with the extremely HOT summer we had. Don't even get me started on fruits and veggies!!!!!!! Stupid, sucky Oklahoma summer!
Any Who, here is what happened @ dinner @ my hizzy. J got home from work and went straight to give Plasma (don't laugh; that is lots of extra $$$) sending TC into a freak out. I am not the kind of Mom to put up with this behavior (can we say our schedule was thrown with labor day?). I started my salad and I gave him a bite. Well, lets say he was very happy. Like 3 bowls of salad happy!!! And just to prove how big these bowls are here is a picture.
Dancing!!!
And more salad. Seriously 3 bowls! He is my son!!!
I found a new bread recipe and made some.
With the help of my sous chef, of course.
We also had grilled chicken (because in 80 degree weather I am willing to go outside) and a mashed potato bake I made up. Oh and the bread.
In other info: I have been asked a bit recently by kind inquirers about my morning sickness. I am doing lots better. I still take my meds once a day and every 3rd day I go 24 without just to see what it feels like. Yeah, I still need it. But I have come to the wonderful place of just living with it and plowing forward. Hey I'm like 23 weeks so this babe is almost baked. I can finish this.
xo,
kellee
p.s. We moved TC into the other bigger room and he is doing GrEaT! We are slowly fixing the nursery back into a newborn friendly home. Doesn't it feel great to be in September?!?!?
p.p.s J has started his football game money counting job and is one happy dude!
p.p.p.s J is no longer the Ward Clerk, but the 1st counselor in the YM and I am a Sunday School teacher for the big teens. We are happy and busy!
Oh and I didn't go back and read read this, so enjoy all the spelling mistakes and ill written sentences!
