Not Calvin

Calvin is a little boy who used to be our neighbor. His has lots of allergies and when I would babysit him and his sisters I always felt bad that there wasn't anything "Calvin Friendly" for him to snack on. So, even though they have moved across town I still like to have "Calvin Friendly" snacks at the house for when I do watch him.
One time I took over a plate of cookies to his parents and Calvin got into them and itched like crazy for days (aka not "friendly"). I felt so bad that I kinda live in fear now of some kid (Calvin or not) getting into something that can cause them pain or discomfort. There is even a little boy in our ward now who also has insane allergies and I wont give Trae peanut butter on Sundays just in case he passes a toy to this poor boy after handling a PB&J.

So again, we are not naming our son Calvin. But Calvin is the reason I started to find alternatives in my cooking.

Sorry for the confusion.

xo,
kellee

p.s. Our little boys name is over to the right. In the baby ticker.
