We went with the AC unit.
Yep ours gave out this weekend for keeps. Turns out the AC unit was older then we were originally told (by 4 years!) And they were shocked it made it to be 17 years old! (teenagers you just never know when they are telling the truth)
BUT
Thank goodness we are Dave Ramsey fans and had our Emergency fund (that means having enough money in savings to take care of all your bills should you not have a job for at least 6 months. We did 10 months just to be safe and are SO grateful!)
At the end of September we will celebrate 2 years in our Little House of Apples. In that time we have had to make some major purchases (new parts for the Toyota, new furnace, new fridge, new Car, new privacy Fence, new AC) and tackle some major bills (My surgery last year was a biggie, the new baby on the way).
But through it all we have grown closer as a couple/family and feel the love of our Savior as we keep to the counsel he has given us. (can you say "pay your tithing and you will be blessed"?)
We may not be rolling in the dough, but we sure can roll some dough out.
Last night TC and I made calzones for dinner. And yes as you can see my Sous Chef was in the buff. But just out of the bath.
They were a hit!!!
I'll post the recipes for the dough and pizza sauce soon!
Oh and belly pics (because it is the half way mark).
xo,
kellee
