This might seem silly...

But I am being completely serious here today people.
I have been contemplating something recently. Something big to me and small to others. And thrice in this past week have I read of friends (and by friends I mean those friends through blogging. Yep those friends) who talked of praying for something they thought "silly" or "to small for anyone but me to really notice" or "shallow".

And I am here today to say if you ever feel this way ask yourself these 3 Questions.
1. Does it matter to me?
2. Is it something I actually spend time (any amount) contemplating?
3. Is it something that I have spoken about in anyway with my spouse/best friend/mother?

If you said yes to any of these, then why no go in prayer to our Heavenly Father? I usually ask myself #3 first, because if I would talk about it to my earthly mother then would why not my Heavenly Father have the greatest insight as well?

I have a particular friend who often says "I haven't come to a desicion. It's just too hard!" and I would have to agree on that. Coming to a conclusion in life is hard. But after this week I will always say:

"Then go to our Heavenly Father in prayer and have him help you. Not matter how small it is to us, you never know when it can be a real life changer for you?"

Now if  you'll excuse me, I actually do have something I am in great need to praying about. Something grand and big for me, but small for you. Just the way I like it!

Now for a little silly. I guess it's humorous J and my mom thought it was funny. I think it just me.
Ok I wrote this email to my mom back on Wednesday.

Mom - You should have a hospital bag too! You know just in case/when the baby comes. And you don't need to pack any make up or anything in it like that, because I have that taken care of (how very convenient it is that we are mother and daughter and can wear the same stuff/colors!) .
And you should leave it in your car because we already know that it'll take you 1 whole hour to get here and adding 15-30 minutes of throwing a bag together and feeding that gray furry beast is just not going to cut it. Not.at.all!
Oh and just in case, you should make sure that said gray furry beast has LOTS of food&water every morning before you leave for work.
You know just in case.
Because remember last time I had a baby and you missed it and all even though I called you on the 24th because the dr. said you should get your booty on the road.
I'm just saying because I love you SO much, and do I need to remind anyone out there in the universe that my hubby and I really kinda need you there because he in incapable of counting to 10 properly and it is not good for anyone's health when he does while I labor away? I do love that man to pieces/more than anything!

But no he is not allowed to count in my presence. And he will be busy taking Pictures of yours-truly, so someone needs to be sure to be there to like count and help hold the bowl while I get sick (did I mention that? Yeah I get sick while in labor. Maybe I shouldn't have told you that. You are still coming young lady!)

But yes, a hospital bag of your very own will be lovely. And you don't need to bring more the 2 outfits because I do live in Norman and we can always do laundry at my Casa (if for any crazy reason you would need more than 2 outfits).
Yeppers you should put this bag together tonight. Or tomorrow since I know you have class tonight and all.

xo,

Oy! That "gray furry beast" is my baby!
I'm probably going to reread this post atleast three more times today for the commentary on poor J. It makes me wonder what Pooh will do that will absolutely be unacceptable to me come April.
PS- pray on, babe.
